DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 3-D artwork will be displayed at the local library from the middle school students.
Students created a 3-D environment using perspective. This helped them to envision what a city would look like in 1 point perspective going down a long road. By imagining this they were able to create a city landscape that appeared 3-D. They used their HORIZON LINE to divide their sky from their land and their VANISHING POINT to show where the road would "disappear" as it became too far away to see. These creative cities they made would truly be interesting places to live.
7th Grade students are inspired by Optical Illusion also known as Op Art. They have learned the illusions can be made using elements of art and math and are creating “letter” illusions using Complementary colors.
